Popular QTV News Anchor Is the Latest Casualty at Nation As the Kimathi Street Based Media House Restructures

Nation Media yesterday brought together two of its TV stations QTV and NTV under one umbrella NTV.

After this restructure many people are already losing their jobs, including QTV’s Ken Wariahe.

“Most of you must be aware of the current situation at NMG. I hereby wish to make it clear that I am no longer an employee of NMG – QTV following the management decision to reorganize the company. I wish to thank all my fans, colleagues, NMG family and all who made it worthwhile during my time. To my pals with whom we have faced the axe, take heart it could be just the onset of greater things… There comes a time to move on …let’s link up on the other side of the valley…Love always..Wariahe.” wrote Wariahe after he lost his job.

This is its second NTV shake-up in a period of close to a year with the last one in 2015 seeing the exit of 6 Studio technical operators, 2 cameramen (including the head of NTV cameramen) 2 reporters and 2 News Directors.
