PROFILE: New Artistes Who Are Expected to Take Over the Music Scene

A new musical revolution  is coming.

We have just been sent some vague profiles of a few artistes who are set to take the East African music scene by storm. The artistes will be unveiled by the new record label on the block, Candy n Candy. More profiles as they come, but here’s a list of the first four.

4 Dee
Her real name is Grace Yombo. Born in 1993, she currently resides in Dar Es Salaam.

Barol Single
Barol Single was born in 1990 and also resides in Dar Es Salaam. He gets his musical influence from Chirchir.

Yusuf
Born in 1990. The Dar resident gets his inspiration from Tanzania pop sensation, Ali Kiba.

Ram K
Like Yusuf, the 27-year old from Dar also gets his inspiration from fellow countryman, Ali Kiba.
