Rapper Xtatic Shows Off Her Amazing Singing Voice in This Crazy-Good Jam with Femi One

Rapper Femi One has teamed up with Xtatic for a new song, Usiku Mchana.

 The song is about falling in love while you are in the spotlight.

 “Usiku Mchana is about how people, lovers, partners and friends always having insecurities that the money and fame might change you. The song only reassures them that one will still remain true and humble even when the fast life comes along.” Femi One says.

 Femi One has featured Xtatic on this song. Xtatic sings instead of dropping some bars, a departure from what fans are used to.

 “You are going hear more of my singing this year as I have recorded more songs where I showcase my vocals . I was to release a mix tape where it was all me singing, but due to unfortunate and unforeseeable  circumstances I have had to hold back most of my projects. In the future you will definitely hear more of my singing as it is what I started with before going into rapping.” says Xtatic.

 The song is based on a personal experience on Femi One’s part.

“The song is basically what I have gone through and what I keep going through as I continue to build my career.” says Femi One.

 The song was produced by Ricco Beats and recorded at ATL studios.

 “I have loved the track from conception. The beat was amazing and the idea behind it making it easier to write to. Initially I think I had three hook ideas which I combined to make one good one. In short, I really love it.” says Xtatic.

 Femi One and Xtatic have previously worked together and they were more than happy to work together on another project.

 “It is always a pleasure working with Xtatic. She is one of the best artistes we have in the country and I look up to her.” says Femi One

As it turns out, the feeling is mutual as  Xtatic calls working with Femi One ‘a pleasure’ since they are so in sync.

” It is always a one time job , one of those things I am delighted to do because our energies connect and there is nothing as great as making music on that level.” says Xtatic.
