Reasons Why Janet Mbugua’s Wedding Was A Great Success

Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua wedded in a colourful ceremony early this year, a wedding ceremony that was highly publicized and greatly talked of.

Many people were fascinated how the celebrated TV girl was able to organize such a wonderful ceremony despite being an invite only thing and happening in one of the plushest places in Kenya – Chaka Ranch.

Your fascination just ends here as I am going to reveal to you why Janet’s wedding, despite criticism from a section of Kenyans, remains one of the best to have ever happened in recent times.

The wedding planner- Janet probably went for the best wedding planner around. According to her sentiments, her wedding planner never disappointed her. She says, “Choose your Planner wisely! A Wedding Planner coordinates all the different aspects of the Wedding with the help of a Committee. A disorganized Wedding Planner can easily ruin your Wedding Day.” She goes on to say that it is prudent to find out who the best is from friends and workmates and if possible interview them to pick the perfect one.

Budget- Janet reveals that she organized her wedding according to what she and her hubby earn. They did not go for what superseded their earnings.

“Have a budget and try as much as possible to stick within its bracket. Point to note: if your budget supersedes what you or your partner earn in a year, you’re not being very smart about cost. Think of your life BEYOND the wedding day”.

Handling Family Drama- The TV queen reveals that one of the reasons she had a successful wedding was because she was able to handle family drama perfectly.

“Two families are coming together, with their different value systems, views on life, levels of exposure. This can get heated. Bottom line is, from very early on, learn what each side of the family is willing to bring to the table”, Janet says.

She says that it is prudent to learn what some family members want and know how to go about it.

Prayer- Janet says that prior to their wedding, they held hands and prayed for everything. They re-assured each other and this was able to relieve them of the anxiety that was building.

“We were really relaxed and on the same page on our wedding day and I know that prayer gave us that perspective.
