REVEALED: How Kenyan Artistes Blow Chances To Work With Tanzania’s Diamond… The Singer Himself Has Spoken Out

Many have questioning themselves why no Kenyan artiste has ever landed a deal to collaborate with East Africa’s finest Diamond Platnumz. While some still grapple with this sting question, others have just formed their own conclusions and answered their own questions.

Some say Diamond is too proud to work with an East African artiste. Others argue that he charges a lot of money to work with a Kenyan or Ugandan artiste. There are those who have never  shared a smile with Kenyan artistes. They will tell you Kenyan artistes’ work is pathetic and so they do not deserve a collabo with the Tanzanian heartthrob.

Whichever angle you have been looking this from, just abandon your initial assumptions and listen to what Diamond has revealed about collabos with his fellow East African singers.

Speaking exclusively to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Diamond revealed that he has tried to work with some Kenyan artistes but he always finds they are not ready for a collabo.

While he accepted that he will not work with Willy Paul and/or Bahati because of their religious differences, Diamond revealed that he is line to work with Jaguar, Collo and Chikuzee.

But he revealed that this is something that should have happened early enough were it not that the Kenyan singers are reluctant to meet some logistics for the collabos to materialize.

Diamond told Mzazi that there was a time when he listened to Chikuzee’s music, got interested in it and told him he was willing to put some lines into it. However, Chikuzee could not get back to him as planned.

He says he met him again and asked him what happened. Chikuzee promised to get in touch. They even had an agreement and at the final stage Chikuzee went underground.

He also talked of Jaguar where he wondered why their deals had not gone through yet they started some projects early enough.

Diamond concluded by saying he hopes everything will go as planned and they will do a collabo very soon.
