Revealed! This Is How Makau Mutua And Smokin Wanjala Performed In The Interviews For The CJ Position. This Is The Guy Who Came In Last (Photos)

65 year old David Maraga is currently and justifiably toasting to his well earned victory in the live interviews for the Chief Justice position.

He moves a step closer to earning the position having completed the hardest hurdle. However, since he was not the choice many people expected, questions have been raised on the performance of others. The clear favorites for many were Smokin Wanjala and Makau Mutua. To this group Maraga was the fourth or third candidate.

Surprisingly, he was quite ahead by quite a mile according to reliable sources aware of the process. Indeed many in the judiciary circles seemed to know the results and were not surprised by the outcome. City lawyer Apollo Mboya revealed on NTV that the top five performance was as follows: davidmaraga1.jpg

He dared the JSC to refute the claims but it seems the applicants’ performance general knowledge among the law fraternity. In fact other sources have revealed the scores of the first three candidates with David Maraga getting 84%, Smoking Wanjala scoring ten less at 74% and Makau Mutua coming a close third at 72%.

While many can guess what may have hindered the chances of Prof. Makau Mutua, people have been left with doubts as to just exactly where Justice Smokin Wanjala failed. The two however have age on their side as Smokin Wanjala is 54 and Makau Mutua is 56. David Maraga will only get to serve for one term as he will be 70 years by the end of the first term.

The only result that came as no surprise is the last candidate who it has been revealed was Ambassador Daniel Wambora.
