Robert Alai Vying For Yet Another Top Job

A couple of years ago it was easy to assume that the art of blogging was set to die a painful death at the hands of social networks like Facebook and Twitter and others. While social has changed how we communicate online, blogging remains a core part of things especially with the rising number of bloggers.

But one Robert Onyango Alai stands out as one of the most active bloggers and Twitterati. In fact, for him there’s never been a better time to blog. He comands a huge following and delivers content to them by sending swarms of tweets, even though very many KOT like to pretend they don’t take him seriously.

Anyhow, Alai is just about to get another feather on his sombrero. The ‘TechMtaa’ blogger has expressed his interest in ‪ODM Elections and declared he will be vying for the party’s ‪Organizing Secretary post in the elections scheduled for later next month.

Alai who has prided himself on being the voice of the voiceless, has in the past been a sharp critic of the “orange” party and it will be interesting to see him join the party.

It will be remebered that Alai unsuccessfully tried to become Kenya’s first Inspector General of Police in October last year.
