Actress Heather Locklear arrested for domestic violence

Heather Locklear was arrested for investigation following domestic violence.

Locklear is best known for her role on 90s primetime soap opera Melrose Place.

Sheriff deputies responded to a domestic disturbance around 10pm on Sunday. This was at Thousand Oaks, west of Los Angeles, Ventura County.

Incident

The domestic violence victim was a boyfriend with a physical injury. Because of the injury, the offense is marked as a felony. The man, however, declined treatment.

Locklear was uncooperative and became combative, according to the Sheriff.

“She was kicking at and pushing our deputies,” he said.

Locklear was also arrested on three misdemeanor counts of battery on an officer.

She was booked into a county jail and released on $20,000 bail. She is due in court on 13 March.

Locklear’s attorney denied to comment.
