Her cause of death, is unknown. In recent years, her music has been overshadowed by her troubled personal life. Last year, she confirmed that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She also opened up about her battle with depression.

O’Riordan’s family, including her three children, are said to be devastated by her death.

Tributes continue to pour in from fans, friends and fellow musicians, who praised her as unforgettable and inspirational.

The Cranberries

O’Riordan joined The Cranberries after reading an advertisement in a local paper, in 1989.

The Cranberries released album Something Else in 2017, and were due to tour Europe and North America. However, the tour had to be cut short due to O’Riordan’s back problems.

The parish priest from her home town has also confirmed her funeral will take place in Ireland, where she will be buried.
