Kagiso Rabada tops world bowlers chart

Kagiso Rabada is indeed a rising star. At only 22, Kagiso, Proteas’ fast bowler, has been recognized as the World’s Number 1 Bowler.

Seamer James Anderson has been pushed to second place by Kagiso. This is after the International Cricket Council confirmed him (Kagiso), test cricket’s premier bowler.

“It’s special to be ranked as the number one Test bowler in the world. It is a surreal feeling. It’s what you dream of achieving when you start playing the game,” Kagiso said in an ICC statement.

Other top bowlers

Kagiso is currently the seventh South African bowler to top the ICC Test Bowling Rankings. This is after Aubrey Faulkner, Hugh Tayfield, Peter Pollock, Shaun Pollock, Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander.
