Meet Maps Maponyane bursary scheme recipient

Earlier this year Maps Maponyane announced the lucky person would win a  Maps Maponyane bursary.

Taking to Instagram Maps revealed the lucky lady who had won the bursary worth R75,000  in conjunction with  Pearson Institute of Higher Education.

Yesterday I got to meet the 2018 recipient of the ‘Maps Maponyane Bursary’ with @pearsoninstitute, Molinah Nkomo, studying a BSC Biomedicine. The rest of her tuition and additional needs will now be fully taken care of. 
She couldn’t stop smiling, and that in itself made me realise just how fortunate I am to be in a position to give
