Robbie Malinga’s final moments (Details)

Robbie Malinga’s brother, Bheki Malinga, decided to give fans a sense of solace by sharing Robbie’s last moments.

Bheki shared how Robbie insisted that his whole family have Christmas lunch at his Dainfern home.

Final moments

“We had lunch for the family yesterday (Christmas Day), organised by him. He insisted while in his hospital bed that this (family lunch) must happen. The family gathered at his place yesterday. This was the first time everybody showed up.”

Bheki shared Robbie’s exact final moment too.

“Believe me, before people finished their plates he just gave up. He smiled, held my hand and just gave up; Robbie had asked me to turn him facing the east. He gave his back to everybody who was there in the room. That was his sign of saying goodbye,” Bheki told IOL News.

Family

Robbie’s wife Ann, and children, are having a hard time coming to terms with his death.

Just before Christmas, they had enjoyed a quiet holiday in the Maldives.

Robbie had just released his album and was set to perform in events around the country.
