Watch: Zodwa Wabantu rips fan’s wig off

After Sunday’s performance that saw her pull off a fan’s weave, Zodwa Wabantu remains unapologetic.

A young female threw a cup at Zodwa during her second song. Zodwa threw the cup back and the two exchanged harsh words, before she ripped the girl’s wig.

She showed the wig off on stage and tossed it at the crowd for the owner to find it.

“I was serious because there was no way I would call security. I am not like that, I express myself and I act by myself,” Zodwa has since explained. “I’m a big girl. I get booked because they know it’s going to be fun, I pull the crowd.”

Zodwa has remained unapologetic and says what happens on the streets stays on the streets.
