“Wear white at my funeral” – Lara Kruger

Lara Kruger’s last post on social media has given more details on the days leading up to her death.

In the December 15 Facebook post, Kruger spoke about depression, death and her funeral too.

“Today I am going home to love, care and peace of mind. Don’t stay in a situation that compromises your well being. I stayed for way too long. With my condition right now I may die and if I do… Wear white at my funeral and please be advised it will be a 3 hour ceremony. Sweet & short. We should not be scared of death. It’s a way to connecting with God.”

On 18th, three days after the post, she was hospitalised. She was released three days later and hospitalised after Christmas.

Kruger died on Wednesday morning.

She had made a name for herself in the LGBTI community, after she constantly spoke about identifying as a woman from an early age, even though she was born male.
