Scandal Hits the Church After a Popular Pastor Is Taken To Court for Denying His Wife Some ‘Lungula’

Congregates of a certain church in Nairobi were left red-faced after their Bishop was taken to court by his wife (also a pastor) for denying her, her conjugal rights.

Bishop George Kamunya who leads the flock at ‘Oasis of Grace Church’ in Nairobi is accused of denying his wife sex until she ended up with ‘very serious depression.’

He may have been stingy with the ‘stick’ when it came to his wife but he was apparently very generous to other women as his wife also accused him of cheating.

In a case filed at the Milimani law court, Mrs. Kamunya alleged that the man of God “during the subsistence of their marriage, has been engaging in extra marital abnormalities, in total disregard to the marriage commitment he made to the petitioner.”

 But the plot thickens further with the wife also accusing him of insulting her constantly .Bishop Kamunya on the other hand had some grievances of his own and told the Nairobian that his estranged wife has had him arrested out of spite in the past. He however refused to comment on the case filed by his wife since it was still in court but he generously shared some damning information about his pastor wife.

“I have been staying with my children ever since their mother initiated divorce proceedings. She is the one who left her marital home, and her children. She deserted us. After staying out there for a while, she decided to sue me for upkeep and custody of the children. “He revealed.

Bishop Kamunya rose to fame 2 year ago for going past his pastoral duties and training his church members on how to save and invest.
