Some Kids Will Be Spending Christmas In Hospital. Here’s How You Can Help Them

A number of celebrities have already confirmed support for the 7 Days Of Christmas project.

But more items are still needed for the 770 children spread across six wards at the Kenyatta National Hospital who might be spending their 2013 Christmas on a hospital bed, away from the comfort of their homes.

The items needed include:

Mosquito nets
PR and publicity coverage
Boxes for wrapping gifts
Wrapping Paper for children’s gifts
40 Inch Television sets – Ultimate Christmas Gift
Oxygen points
Ambu bags (for resuscitation)
Diapers
Baby Oil
Flasks and other cutlery
Heaters (tungsten ones, not the fan/blow type ones)
Hot water bottles
Laryngoscope set
Touch thermometers
Stethoscopes
Electric Kettles
Tea Urns
Extension cables
Measuring cups
One fridge for the burn unit on level 4D (for storage of drugs)
Cardiac monitors
Drip stands
