Soul Star Fena Gitu To Perform At The African Fashion Factory Launch

Soulful singer Fena Gitu will be one of the performers at the upcoming African Fashion Factory show.

Fena’s career was launched in 2008 when she won the Fete de la Musique singing competition at Alliance Francaise. She started out as a back-up vocalist for Muthoni the Drummer Queen and Dela in 2009 before pursuing a solo career in 2010.

Fena’s live performances have tantalized many including at Blankets & Wine, Fena Live At Shebeen, Fena Live at Choices, Kilifi Arts Festival, Molo Footloose Festival for Peace, Art & Beer Festival, Kinanda Arts Festival, Boombaataa Festival, Poetry Addiction in Dar among others.

See her perform at The African Fashion Factory launch takes place on 30th November at the Galleria Shopping Mall (Main Atrium) on 30th November between from 10.00 a.m. and 11.00 p.m.

Regular tickets to the event will go for Kshs. 3,500 in advance and Kshs. 4,000 at the gate. This comes with a cold cocktail and a place in the afterparty. VIP tickets will be sold at Kshs. 5,000, which comes with a cold and warm cocktail, a three-course ddinner from Mambo italia Restaurant and a VIP spot in the afterparty.
