Intimidation continues! Hassan Joho gives reason why he won’t present himself to the police as instructed after being summoned over forged academic papers

Joho’s woes continue, a fresh twist on his alleged fake academic papers has seen him being summoned by Coast DCI Regional Coordinator Pius Macharia.

Kenya National Examination Council claimed in a letter that Joho’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate was forged.

Joho’s spokesman Richard Chacha however rubbished the claim saying that it was piece of propaganda circulated by Jubilee and other state agencies.

Joho was blocked by General Service Unit (GSU) at Nyali bridge on March 13th as he was going to Mtongwe. He was instead escorted to his office where he remained under the watchful eyes of the police.

These allegation come only a few weeks after the Mombasa governor clashed with President Uhuru, the head of state vowed to ‘deal’ with him.

The embattled Mombasa governor has since been summoned to record a statement with the CID over the authenticity of his academic credentials.

The police wanted Joho to present himself on Tuesday March 28th but governor 001 has explained he won’t be going to the police on that date.

Sultan says he will honor the police summon but he will only do so on Wednesday the 29th of March.

“Intimidation continues, today at 4:30pm I received a summon from Mr. Pius Macharia to appear at the Regional DCI Headquarters Mombasa and record a statement.

“I have informed them in writing that due to confirmed prior commitments I will personally honor the summon on Wednesday the 29th of March at 10.30am. I know I will be vindicated once again and this will never deter me from pursuing the transformation agenda for my people,” Joho wrote.

Willy Paul rates Hassan Joho’s performance after the Mombasa Governor is seen singing and dancing to his song on a campaign trail

How do you know your music is dope if not by people singing your songs! Willy Paul has surely conquered the industry even if critics beg to differ.

The gospel singer is currently riding high on his hit song ‘I Do’ featuring Alaine which has garnered 1.3 million views in three weeks.

But ‘I Do’ isn’t the only hit song Willy Paul boasts of, ‘Fanya’ was another hit song that made tongues wag. Willy got a new pseudonym ‘Pozee’ thanks to his song ‘Fanya’.

And to prove ‘Fanya’ is such a big hit, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho was seen singing Willy Paul’s song on a campaign trail with Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi.

Willy was quick to rate Joho’s performance when he saw the video.

“MOMBASA Governor JOHO singing my song FANYA… WACHA MOVIE IWAUME” Willy Paul wrote.

6 men armed with deadly assault rifles storm Joho’s Nyali house

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has today March 15th 2017 recorded a statement at Coast regional police headquarters after unknown men stormed his house.

Joho was flanked by journalists and his supporters as he went to the police station, apparently some 6 people armed with AK47 rifle stormed into his house in Nyali and stayed for about an hour.

While addressing the press, Joho said the men were unshaken and warned a neighbor who spotted them to keep off if he wanted to stay alive.

The house was vacant at the time of the raid, the Mombasa governor vacated his Nyali home months ago following a squabble with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I suspect if they were not after me they went to the construction site because they wanted to plant some illegal guns and later link them to me,” Joho told journalist.

The Mombasa governor also said that he would not demand for more security explaining that it is God who gives life and takes.

After putting him under office arrest, President Uhuru now vows to deal with Hassan Joho

President Uhuru Kenyatta once again clashed with defiant Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho during his recent trip to the coast.

Joho was yesterday March 13th blocked by General Service Unit (GSU) at Nyali bridge as he was going to Mtongwe. He was instead escorted to his office where he remained under the watchful eyes of the police.

Speaking during the re-launch of Mtongwe ferry services, President Kenyatta vowed to teach Joho a lesson, he accused the Mombasa governor of pestering him and interfering with his work.

Some people hinted that Uhuru’s recent behavior is attributed to several things such as doctors’ and lecturers’ strike and pressure from the opposition and upcoming general election.

President Uhuru hits a new low! Hassan Joho reduced to tears as GSU officers block him from traveling to Mtongwe Ferry (Raw Video)

Just when you thought intimidations and police harassment ended with Daniel Moi’s regime, a disturbing video pops showing GSU officers frustrating Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.

President Uhuru’s government is rekindling old memories of the dark era when Kenya was a police state. The incident in Nyali early today morning was a slap in the face for the new constitution which was promulgated in 2010 – it guarantees freedom of movement.

A video doing rounds on social media shows a contingent of General Service Unit (GSU) surrounding and blocking Hassan Joho at Nyali Bridge.

Apparently the GSU officers were under instructions to block the Mombasa governor from attending Uhuru’s function in Mtongwe.

The president has today re-launched the Mtongwe Ferry without Mombasa governor Hassan Joho being in attendance.

The video shows Joho pleading with the GSU officers to let him go by his business but his plea fell on deaf ears. At one point the Governor almost broke down in tears.

It was the most splendid wedding! Joho attends wedding of the daughter of controversial lawmaker who told women to withhold sex from men (Photos)

The most spectacular wedding of the month was held on March 11th in Mombasa. And Governor 001 couldn’t miss it.

The daughter of Mombasa woman representative Mishi Mboko walked down the aisle on Saturday in a colorful wedding that was attended by several politicians including Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.

Mishi Mboko’s beautiful daughter Hafidha exchanged vows with the lover of her life Tariq in a Swahili-themed wedding.

The Mombasa woman representative caused a stir last January during voters registration drive; she urged women in opposition strongholds to deny their spouses conjugal rights to force them to register as voters ahead of August 8 elections.

Governor Joho and Mombasa woman representative Mishi Mboko

Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta showground at Mkomani in Mombasa while issuing cheques to women and youth self-help groups, Ms Mboko said sex was a powerful weapon to make reluctant men rush to register as voters.

But last Saturday there was no room for political rhetoric during the wedding of Ms Mboko’s daughter, Joho and other politicians were full of encouraging words for the newlywed couple.

“I congratulate Hon. Mishi Mboko and her family on the wedding of her daughter Hafidha to Mr. Tariq. I wish the newly weds a very happy and fruitful marriage as they start a new chapter in life,” Joho wrote.

“I am in love with Hassan Joho, anyone who can link me please?” lady begs to be Joho’s 16th Girlfriend

Wonders shall never end on social media and a lady by the name of Ann Wanjiru has laft many shocked as she openly begged to be hooked up with Governor Hassan Joho’s girlfriend and from her tweet, the lady didn’t even mind if it meant settling for the 16th position.

One can call it being desperate but let us not forget the Mombasa governor is quite good looking and any lady would like to be involved with him if he was still single with no family baring his name.

Anyway, since Ann Wanjiru could not keep her lustful thoughts to her self she opted to get help from social media hoping someone would hook her up with her dream man.

She tweeted..e with Hassan Joho anyone who can link me please? Ata kuwa just 16th girlfriend I am ready… #JohoNasaPwani

The thirst is real and at this rate men might just need to treat their women better to avoid them crushing on other people’s men.

Joho accorded VIP treatment in US despite being implicated in drug trafficking by former US ambassador to Kenya (Photos)

Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho left Kenya for US on February 14th to attend a United Nations Strong Cities summit that seeks to find solutions to the rising violent extremism in the coast region.

Hassan Joho is expected to hold a round table meeting with Homeland Security officials to discuss matter security.

The 001 governor was accorded warm treatment in US contrary to expectation that the no nonsense Donald Trump administration would give him a hard time because of his alleged involvement in drugs.

Former US ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger dropped a dossier in 2010 in which Joho, Kiambu governor William Kabogo, Nairobi senator Mike Sonko, Harun Mwau and Mombasa tycoon Ali Punjani were implicated in drug trafficking.

Joho has however had a smooth stay in America, the Mombasa governor is being transported in a big Cadillac SUV with a customized plate written ‘USA VIP’, obviously a government vehicle.

The 001 governor also had time off his busy schedule to freely stroll down the streets of US city.

Panic after Gretsa University speaks of Joho’s controversial degree shortly after Matiangi’s directive. Will he be deregistered??

Panic has engulfed the whole country and this after Matiangi released an audit that might as well throw the whole of Kenya’s University’s education in total delirium.

The audit which was released yesterday, Thursday, 16th Feb exposed the rot in universities where students and institutions conspire to go round the set standards of quality.

As part of the remedial action and to restore credibility to the country’s higher education system, many degrees are set to be recalled. To further stop the rot, the report has outlined serious measures including scrapping of the school-based programmes. This is a blow to thousands of teachers who attend university classes during school holidays.

“All academic programmes under school-based programme or any other related names are stopped forthwith. Students on school based mode shall be required to continue training on part-time basis,” reads the report.

And not only that, all executive degrees have been suspended and individuals who graduated from such programmes will have their papers recalled.

Now in the midst of this conundrum lays Joho whose University degree has always been the subject of discussion. Will he also get deregistered? His University, Gretsa has finally spoken and indeed certified that he’s fully qualified.

He was on a long-distance programme since 2014 and graduated having satisfied the board of examiners and University senate,” the vice chancellor Kuria Thuo told the Star.

With that I guess we can all take a walk; no story here!

“I agree with Junet Mohammed. Marwa is a dog” Moses Kuria agrees to the fullest extent that Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa is a dog

Controversial Cord MP last Tuesday night insulted Coast Regional Coordinator and surprisingly Moses Kuria can’t agree with him more.

Suna East MP Junet Mohammed insulted Nelson Marwa during a discussion on Citizen TV’s The Big Question; the subject of discussion was the ongoing war on drugs.

Junet called Nelson Marwa several derogatory terms including ‘dog’ and ‘monkey’ for frustrating Mombasa governor, Hassan Joho.

“Why we think they are targeting Joho, this monkey…this Coast regional coordinator has been on Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s case for a while, *** people and issuing alarming sentiments targeting Governor Joho,” Junet  said.

Gatundu South MP also responded, the Jubilee motormouth agreed Marwa was a dog but he further revealed that the Coast Regional Coordinator was a sniffer dog that had rightly sniffed Joho’s drugs.

“I agree with Junet Mohammed. Marwa is a dog. A sniffer dog. It has rightly sniffed Joho’s drugs. Now Joho is en route to joining his storekeeper Akasha. And this will leave the likes of Junet without a financier. The farewell party will be dope-literally speaking,” Moses Kuria posted on Facebook.

“Jacob Juma killers are hunting Hassan Joho” Raila Odinga warns of dire consequences as he uncovers plan to assassinate Joho

Mombasa governor has dominated headlines for the past two weeks ever since he exchanged fire with President Uhuru Kenyatta in public.

Joho caused a stir when he rejected the new security detail sent to guard his home in Nyali after the government withdrew his guards before sending back a new batch of officers.

The Mombasa governor disclosed that he had received reliable intel about the government’s plans that’s why he decided to reject the new officers and ultimately vacated his house.

Raila Odinga has further added fuel to the Joho saga revealing that Jacob Juma’s killers were planning to assassinate the Mombasa governor.

“People who killed businessman Jacob Juma now want to eliminate Mr Joho because of his political stand… let them try,” Raila spoke in Isebania town during his tour of Migori county to urge his followers to register as voters.

The Cord leader claimed that Joho had became a target because of his firm stand against Jubilee administration.

Hassan Joho has the most adorable children, meet his son and daughter

Governor Joho might be surrounded by controversy but he is among the loving fathers we have seen so far. He is a family man and prides in his son and daughter who seem to have taken after him in terms of looks.

His children’s photo has been making rounds on social media and from the comments, many are wishing they could have a chance to bare him more children.

The young boy and girl live with their mum, Madina Hassan Joho, who is rarely seen in public with her influential husband. So far we understand that Joho’s family lives in Mombasa where he has a mansion worth millions.

Anyway, no one knows how old the children are but they are barely teens. But as far as we know Joho and his wife only have four children but the photo making rounds on social media only shows two.

Well, if the governor is not busy with his political career and businesses these are the adorable kids he goes home to.

This is the intelligence that Hassan Joho received that made him vacate his Nyali house IMMEDIATELY

Mombasa governor moved out of his house in Nyali last week following friction with the national government. Apparently Joho received intelligence that made him make the move.

Sometimes last week, Flying Squad officers raided and ransacked the house of a close ally of Mombasa governor.

Coast Regional Coordinator, Nelson Marwa , said the government was planning to mop up illegal guns at the Coast ahead of the August general election; he further revealed the operation was mainly targeting licensed owners, especially VIPs, who were abusing the privilege.

The squabble between Mombasa governor and president Uhuru is thought to be the reason why the government is now targeting certain people in Mombasa.

Speaking outside Mombasa county headquarters during the official launch of voter registration in his county, Hassan Joho said he rejected new police officers sent to guard his home after receiving intelligence reports that there was a scheme to eliminate him.

The Mombasa governor claimed he received reliable information that the government was planning to use the new security officers to plant drugs and firearms in his residence in Nyali.

“I have rejected the State bodyguards because I had reliable information Jubilee was planning to plant illegal guns in my residence and spy on me using such officers. I would rather protect myself than allow these people to stay around me,” Joho spoke.

“Joho lies to you that he is against Uhuru but he hangs out with Uhuru’s son smoking shisha” Alai uncovers the BIGGEST political lie in Kenya

Someone once said that politicians maul each other in public but behind the scenes they wine and dine together. This could be true if Robert Alai’s words are anything to go by.

As much as he has a knack for badmouthing certain characters, Alai is also known for uncovering some of the most shocking stories in Kenya.

The controversial blogger now claims Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and President Uhuru Kenyatta are taking Kenyans for a ride with their squabble.

Alai says Joho hangs out with President Uhuru’s eldest son, Jomo Kenyatta, in Mombasa nightclub every month.

“Joho lies to you that he is against Uhuru etc but he hangs out with Uhuru’s son, Jomo, smking Shisha with him in Mombasa nightclub every month,” Alai wrote on Facebook on January 12th.

The blogger further alleges that the Mombasa governor is cooperating with the government to run down family business.

“The most dishonest person you can depend on as a politician is Joho. Don’t even trust him. Even his brother, Abu, who unofficially runs Mombasa county is not happy because “Joho anashindana na serikali na kuua biashara ya familia.”

“Nobody should even think of trusting Joho. Not even a team player. He is also the one who sacked the largest number of “watu wa bara” when he became Mombasa governor.”

“By being so pro Raila, he hopes that his daliance with Raila will make “watu wa bara” (who are mostly CORD supporters) support his re-election. Joho will get a surprise of his life. He is likely not to be re-elected. Take this to Jamii Bora bank and take a loan,” Wrote Alai.

“Governor Joho has not been arrested” says Police boss Joseph Boinett

Earlier on today, news broke out that Mombasa governor Hassan Joho had been arrested and was being held at Urban police station something that police have come to deny.

Through a statement from police boss Joseph Boinett, Joho had indeed stormed to the police station but to demand the release of a friend.

Earlier reports had indicated that Joho was arrested following a directive from police headquarters in Nairobi which sought to have the fiery politician arrested alongside other local politicians. The charge is believed t be illegal possession of guns and ammunition.

Joho’s problems started when he had a confrontation with President Uhuru Kenyatta over the launch of the buxton footbridge in Mombasa County which saw his security detail withdrawn. It was later reinstated but he claimed not to need it.

He has since moved out of his Nyali house to an unknown destination where he acquired his own private security detail.

Tit for tat? Flying Squad raid the house of Joho’s close ally a day after the Mombasa governor chased police out of his compound

The friction between Mombasa governor and the government is thought to be the reason why police officers raided the house of his close ally today.

Daily nation reports that Flying Squad officers have today raided the house of Arub Ibrahim Katri, a close ally of Hassan Joho. The officers rummage through household items before they left.

Just yesterday, Joho locked out police officers sent to guard his house in Nyali in a move that was interpreted as hitting back at Jubilee for withdrawing his security.

Jubilee female MP reveals why Joho Keeps on Attacking and Hurling insults at Uhuru…He will not like this!

The Jubilee smart card launch is currently on going at Kasarani where the ruling party is set to unveil its new digital membership card for all members.

All Jubilee aspirants are present including the party leader, his Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta and with that you will expect temperatures to flare up.

The first shot was taken by Waititu towards his rival governor Kabogo where he accused him of orchestrating to rig the elections something that Kabogo downplayed. Then it was Alice’s Njeri turn, the MP for Thika town and that’s when the actual fire was lit.

Joho's enemy
Alice Ng’ang’a who has attacked Joho speaking at a past event.

The fire was directed to none other but Hassan Joho who in the recent past has made the headlines for hurling all manner of insults at the president when he was at the coast launching some government projects.

Now Alice seems to have a hypothesis as to why Joho has so much bitterness towards the president and it all has to do with drugs; aren’t we all tired of hearing about this already.

Well, according to her, Joho is not happy with the president’s ultimatum to wage war on drugs- his main business and that’s why he’s gas lighting and insulting him at every opportunity.

Now Joho being Joho, you don’t expect him to take this lying down so expect a showdown something which Alice seems to be aware of.

She assured the president they were more than ready to tackle the governor!

KCSE Certificate Allegedly belonging to Uhuru Kenyatta is doing rounds on Social media. This is what he scored

Shortly after Hassan Joho’s certificate leaked online, yet another certificate is doing rounds, and it belongs to none other but Uhuru Kenyatta.

Let’s play a game, guess what he scored? A, C, B; a D-, yes D for dog.

The certificate alleges that Uhuru sat for his KCSE in 1976 and did 9 subjects. His best performed subjects were Mathematics and Biology where he scored in a plain C in both of them.

Uhuru Kenyatta and Hassan Joho

Now this is laughable as the first KCSE was done in 1989 and it replaced Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) but being an election year, all manner of propaganda is expected to circulate. Plus also considering his age, the president was probably getting married at the time and not sitting for some exam.

Joho’s certificate which he hasn’t come to deny puts his whole education background in disarray as it dictates he faked his diploma to get admission into Kampala International University and further into Gretsa University where he majored in Commerce and accounting.

Here is his certificate which has been rounds for the better part of the week:

Uhuru hatawezana na Joho! Mombasa governor chases away police sent to protect his palatial home in Mombasa (Photos)

The government withdrew police officers attached to Mombasa governor Hassan Joho after he told president Uhuru to his face that he was hijacking development projects at the coast.

Also read: President Uhuru and Joho destroy each other in Mombasa… But Uhuru’s response was the bomb!

The government ordered police protecting Joho to immediately surrender their firearms to the nearest police station in Mombasa.

The state later reinstated Joho’s security explaining that the withdrawal was aimed at restructuring police guarding governors.

Addressing delegates in the opposition rally at Bomas of Kenya on Wednesday January 11th, Joho said he didn’t need state protection.

“I am the happiest man on earth, I drove myself to this venue and will drive myself home. Jubilee can stay with their security,” Joho spoke.

True to his word, Joho locked out police officers deployed to guard his residence in Nyali. Media reports claim that the officers were chased away when they arrived at Joho’s house to carry on with their duty.

Joho’s communications director Richard Chacha revealed the governor vacated his residence over safety concerns after the government withdrew his security.

“Let them knock and ask who the new occupants are… Joho has already hired another team for his new home,”  Richard Chacha said.

3 times Hassan Joho has been accused of being an academic dwarf and a cheat… Even by DP William Ruto

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been accused of being an academic dwarf several times. A KCSE certificate doing rounds on the internet has further ruined Joho’s reputation in as far as education is concerned.

In 2014, Joho fought a battle to prove to Kenyans his university degree was genuine. The Mombasa governor was accused of buying a degree even though he proved he was a student at Kampala International University and he graduated properly.

Sometimes in November last year, Deputy President William Ruto also accused Joho of being an academic dwarf for opposing the set up of a dry port in Eldoret. Speaking at the historic Tononoka grounds during the launch of Jubilee Party, Ruto said Joho was an academic dwarf who couldn’t grasp the term ‘dry port’.

Then yesterday January 11th someone posted a KCPE certificate of a certain Ali Hassan and claimed the certificate was Joho’s.

The certificate showed Ali Hassan who was a student at Serani Secondary School, scored a mean grade of D Minus in 1993 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam.

Hassan Joho KCPE certificate

Joho through Mombasa County’s Director of Communications, Richard Chacha, dismissed the KCSE certificate.

“His name is Hassan Ali Joho not Ali Hassan. That is fake,” Richard Chacha said.

President Uhuru and Joho destroy each other in Mombasa… But Uhuru’s response was the bomb!

Uhuru beat Joho 3-0; the Mombasa governor started the war but the President showed him he knew how to throw knockout punch.

You are probably aware of what transpired yesterday in Mombasa; for those that don’t, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Hassan Joho traded barbs in public again.

Joho started the war of words accusing Uhuru of taking credit for development projects he did not initiate.

Speaking during the launch of Buxton footbridge, the Mombasa governor made it clear that the structure wasn’t a product of the Jubilee government.

Joho revealed the project was planned in 2010 and was financed by the World Bank; he said Jubilee government was thriving in hijacking projects rather than initiating their own.

The last person to speak in a public address usually has the upper hand in most scenarios, so was president Uhuru.

The commander in chief hit Joho below the belt saying the Mombasa governor was making empty promises while his government has initiating projects that helped citizens right away.

“Tunahakikisha ya kwamba tuko na nchi ambayo kila Mkenya mahali kokote aliko anajivunia na anafurahia. Tunaelewana wenzangu? Na hio ya tuko ngojea Joho tukimaliza atakuletea hio alikuagizia. Yangu itakua ya manufaa kwako na watoto wako.”

In your opinion, between Uhuru and Joho who do you think spoke sense?

Hassan Joho’s father for the first time comes out to explain why the governor almost fought with Sonko at a Public Rally

Y’all remember that time, about a year ago when Hassan Joho almost came to blows with Senator Mike Sonko in front of president Uhuru when he was in a month’s tour in the Coastal region?

Well, there might be an explanation for that and it’s coming straight from the horses mouth, his own father.

Mzee Joho has spoken about his son for the first time in an exclusive interview and he described him as fierce character who’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind something he might have inherited from his late mother.

Mzee Joho- Hassan Joho's father
Hassan Joho’s father Mzee Joho.

“Ukali anao, lakini mimi najaribu kumcool namwambia usifanye ukali, si vizuri. Wewe ni mwanasiasa (He is strict, fierce, but I always try to cool him down and tell him to be calm. You are a politician),” Mzee Joho told Citizen TV.

And true to that, Hassan Joho has been one of the greatest critics of the Jubilee government and one of Raila’s Odinga trusted generals.
