The Height of Cross-Dressing: Did you know that the ‘Lady’ in Nameless New Video is a Man?

In the 90s legendary American rock band, Jane’s Addiction, became popular with their song, Been Caught Stealing in which their music video had a man dressed as a fat woman robbing grocery store. He pulled it so well that most believed it was a woman.

Fast forward to 2014… Nameless pulled a similar stunt in his comeback track, African Beauty. Unknown to many (myself included); the first video girl in the music is a man! However, it’s not easy to notice as the guy perfectly plays the gender role and his cross-dressing makes it worse.

The whole ‘man-pretends-to-be-a-chic-that-ends-up-almost-making-the-star-almost-collapse-in-shock’ storyline leaves any viewer an iota of doubt that it’s a chic.

Nameless made the revelation last weekend during a radio interview which took many by surprise.

“I realised that not many got to realise that the ‘lady’ that walked in first in an orange dress was actually a man dressed as a woman. I thought it was obvious….guess not” reveals Nameless.
