The Promise The Late Mzee Ojwang Made But Never Lived To Fulfill(Video)

It is prudent to argue that the late Mzee Ojwang Hatari did his work perfectly and in our eyes and thinking, had nothing to do again. Some argue he just rested after an illustrious career spanning decades of pure entertainment. Other will still tell you Mzee Ojwang had a role to play amongst us and his dead came when we all needed him most.

All these are good thoughts and suggestions. But Mzee Ojwang knows too well what he wanted to achieve and which was cut short by Pneumonia on Sunday evening.

The pioneer of Kenyan comedy believed he still had a wonderful role to play before he made his bow out of this world.

This is according to a video Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has shared in his Facebook account. The video shows how when he fell ill the Sonko Rescue Team came to his rescue and rushed him to hospital where he underwent an eye surgery to recover his sight.

It was after Mzee Ojwang was able to see again that he promised Kenyans and specifically his fans that he would do them even more justice by entertaining them even more.

The video shows a jovial Mzee Ojwang with a restored sight making this promise. Unfortunately, he never lived to fulfill it.

Here is the video:
