The Top Tweets From Last Week’s Top Trend: “What’s Your Side Hustle?”

Last week, #AskWaikenda trended as the number one topic when it tackled the issue of side hustles, Youth Fund and 30% Government Procurement.

For the uninitiated, #AskWaikenda is a weekly engagement run by the #AskWaikenda mentors for the youth on key issues affecting their lives and livelihood. The engagment takes place each and every Thursday on Twitter between 2.00 and 4.00 p.m.

The engagement is led by Machel Waikenda, a political strategist, communications consultant, National Olympics Committee member and youth advisor. Though not in government, his aim is to empower youth, provide mentorship and capacity building.
