These Churchill Raw Comedians are Sure Giving ‘Mchungaji’ & ‘Mtumishi’ a Run for Their Cash

Churchill Show’s Mchungaji & Mtumishi burst into the comical scene with their unique style of comedy: That of intentionally reworking biggest hits into humorous and even sometimes mocking for satirical effect. However, they are now facing stiff competition from another duo.

In comes the Wagithomo. These guys are the in-thing as far as comedy and parody songs are concerned. What makes them stand out is the fact that they do pop songs in Kenyan-native Christian sect, The Akurinus. And they do it with style and clever pitch.

Yes, musical comedy can be a hard thing to pull off; not only do you have to be funny, but you also have to be a good singer, play an instrument. And, Wagithomo have all these.

Although they have no vocal training between them, singing is something they’ve perfected. Despite mutilating some of the best hits of our time, they hit the bulls-eye with the comical relief they offer.

What’s off-the-wall is that Wagithomo is not a real Mukurinu but only comical characters who make every song sound gospel in a funny way.
