This is what Airtel Recently Did Setting Social Media Ablaze #Unliminet20

The war between Kenyan Telco’s to attract customers with better rates and good customer service is always bubbling in Kenya. New products and services are launched on a daily and just when you start thinking it can’t get any swankier, that it can’t get any cheaper, you are slapped with a new innovation that leaves you totally confused.

Airtel especially has made it a habit to always woe you with the coolest and most affordable packages every now and then leaving you spoilt for choice. I thought it was over with them when they launched unliminet, I didn’t think they couldn’t get any more creative but I guess I was wrong.

They recently launched Karibu airtel in their never ending journey to acquire more customers. Meaning welcome to airtel, it’s a first offering which aims at welcoming first time customers to the service with a bang.

The package is bundled with every top up of Ksh. 20 or Ksh. 50 and above on a new sim card purchased from any of its shops and dealers anywhere in Kenya. ‎The Karibu Airtel offer is valid for the first month of use of the new sim card.

Karibu Airtel will welcome customers topping up airtime worth Ksh.50 and above on their new sim card with Ksh.30 for calls & SMS ‎to any network in Kenya and 30MB of data all valid for 7 days. Customers also get FREE access to WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter during the same period. A customer can dial the short code *131*209# to check their balance for Karibu Airtel 50.

Customers who choose to top up airtime worth Ksh.20 on their new sim card get Ksh.10 for calls & SMS ‎to any network in Kenya and 10MB of data all valid for 3 days. Customers also get FREE access to WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter during the same period. One can dial the short code *131*207# to check their balance for Karibu Airtel 20.

“This is our way of welcoming you home to our superior quality network with a great range of value propositions including Airtel UnlimiNet voice and data packages and Airtel Money for sending and receiving money and paying for bills in a convenient and affordable way.” Said Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi during the official launch of the package.
