Melania Trump has caused anger amongst New Yorkers after it was revealed that she wouldn’t be joining her husband in Washington DC to stay in the White House.
The reason why New Yorkers are angry is because Melania will cause traffic nightmare in the city now that she is being protected by the Secret Service.
Fifth Avenue, a street where Trump’s skyscraper is located, was sealed off immediately Trump was declared winner of US presidential election.

It has also emerged that the state of New York will part with 1 million dollars daily in protecting the First Family. While US President and his immediate family are fully protected by Secret Service, the local police are always called on to help assist them with security.
Trump’s 10-year-old son, Barron Trump, is the main reason why Melania Trump has opted to stay in New York.  Transition spokesman, Jason Miller, insisted that the Trumps were energized and excited about their new role serving the country but were concerned about changing schools in the middle of the year.
 
Critics however intimate that Melania couldn’t fathom the idea of leaving her penthouse which has been decorated with gold and diamond for a ‘plain’ White House.
Trump’s 66th floor penthouse in Trump Tower offers stunning views of New York City and is valued at $100 million.
 
The luxury at Trump’s New York home is nothing compared to what White House offers. The US president-elect said he’ll be home frequently and even more while Melania and Barron are still there.
