This Is Why The Late Mutula Kilonzo Would Beg To Die Again If He Rose Today

It was early April when a popular weekly paper revealed that fresh wrangles were rocking the late Makueni Senator’s family over his Kwa Kyelu ranch.

Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, son to the late senator and who inherited the seat as Makueni Senator, accused his step-mother and second wife to the late Senator, Nduku Kilonzo, of starving the lions and cheetahs in the Kwa Kyelu Ranch.

Mutula told the Nairobian that Nduku was not feeding the lions and that they were starving and were on the brink of death.

He went ahead to claim that if his father rose today who would beg to die again after seeing the condition the animals were in.

Nduku vehemently denied the accusations and said that Jnr’s was a personal vendetta directed at her wrongly and that the lions were well taken care of.

It is, however, emerging now that KWS has taken custody of the animals after confirming that indeed they were starving because they were not fed.

A KWS official has told the Nairobian that after visiting the ranch, it was discovered that the three lions and two cheetahs that Mutula kept are starving and that they had to take them away to take good care of them.

He also revealed that the licence that the late Mutula had been issued with to own the animals has since expired and no one from his family has applied for renewal. This means the ranch is on the verge of extinction.

Family wrangles and neglect are the reasons behind this unfortunate incident.
