‘Top Gear’ Finally Comes to Kenya

After years of waiting, Kenyan car enthusiasts can now have a sigh of relief after ‘Top Gear’ finally made Kenya its home. Recently, NTV launched a unique TV show that touches all aspects of motoring; from trucks to tractors, basic to luxury to pick-ups, vans and more, just like UK’s ‘Top Gear’.

Dubbed, “Auto Vault TV”, the show is web-based and very interactive. Ideally targeted towards the East African market, the show offers authoritative test reviews on new and used vehicles, as well as give viewers tips on how to care for and maintain their cars.

“Auto Vault TV” also provides a platform where motorists can share their rants and raves on matters affecting the transport sector, policies and much more.

It’s hosted by Michael Mwai and Trevor ‘ biggy’ Lamenya and airs every Sunday on NTV at 6.30 PM.
