Top Rapper, Rabbit Kaka Sungura, To Perform At Sepetuka

And now it is time to highlight the local artistes who will be performing at this year’s Sepetuka Music Festival.

It has been confirmed one of Kenya’s top rappers will be performing. Also known as Kennedy Ombima, Rabbit shot to prominence when he released Jam Nakam. He later released his first album, Tales of Kaka Sungura. Based on the strength of his storytelling and clever rhymes, his debut record was a hit.

He also runs The Dreams Campaign which deals with gender violence, child molestation and empowering the African child. This year, he dominated the charts with his hit single, Ligi Soo famously prominently featured the likes of Jay A, Mejja, Chiwawa, Madtraxx, Petra, Shikow Femi 1, Raz, Lyraoko in the remix.

The 2013 edition of Sepetuka takes place on Saturday, November 30th at The Carnivore grounds. With over 25 participating deejays from all over the world and various local artistes playing a variety of genres, this will certainly be a crowd-puller.

The event will feature a rich mixture of entertainment including dance arenas, live acts, new age lighting shows and an incredible atmosphere. With the line-up, you can see that there is something for everyone.
