And now comes Ni Sisi, the cinematic adaptation of SAFE’s street theatre act which revolved around the theme of Kenyan identity, youth empowerment, forgiveness and personal accountability for keeping peace.

The film stars familar faces from Nairobi Half Life led by Joseph K. Wairimu, Jacky Vike and Godfrey Ojiambo. Others include Peter King, Krysteen Savane, Umi Rajab, Mwajuma Bahati, Ednah Daisy, Paul Kades, Irungu Wairimu, Mercy Wanjiru, Ali Mlatso, Trizah Musimbi, Trizah Kabue and Alfred Calypso.

Ni Sisi was directed by Nick Reding with funding from Hivos, Safaricom and Minority Rights Group. Google Kenya funded the printing of the DVD sleeves.
