In the previous years, having short and neat hair was the way to go. The Banyankole have also kept this trend till now, and with the shape of their heads, they look amazing. Commonly known as the Janet cut, many women have managed to have less stress concerning the maintenance of their hair.

The Short hair trend could be back,and this time it has attacked viciously. With almost all the females on the cast of the Black panther movie going short, we may just have to see a little more of it.

Though most people say it is easy to maintain the hair short, I completely disagree. It is followed up by a number of constant oiling and combing to keep it looking fresh. With the heat this season, rocking this trend may save you from a lot of sweating and  discomfort.

The first time African women actually embraced this hairstyle was after the coming of sensational Sudanese models into the market. Women who are not afraid to go bold completely. Those that believe that beauty takes the shape that you make it. Halle Berry and Rihanna are also two people who were never afraid to rock the short hair look.

Various celebrities have now taken up the trend and are rocking it. Some color the top part maroon, or white, while others like to create a slight design from a cut.
