Arch bishop Lwanga wants Tithe deducted from Salaries

The Devil works hard but the church works harder. Apparently the Arch bishop of the catholic church wants tithe deducted directly from peoples salary as a measure to support its work.

“In developed countries, they do it. If you earn Shs1,000, the church takes of Shs100 like that because people don’t go to church but want to continue supporting its work,” Kizito said.

Ugandans are not very happy with this suggestion.

“We already have enough taxes on our back. Now the Church – where we run for solace is also planning to squeeze us the more?” A one Joseph Mafabi argued.
