Josephine Karungi fills in Maurice Mugisha Exits NTV for UBC Tv

For the past few years, a biblical sort of exodus has been happening at NTV. Latest to leave is Maurice Mugisha, who has been made deputy MD at UBC.

Maurice being one of the longest serving TV personalities at the station,leaves a huge gap to fill.

UBC where he is going seeks to grow its appeal. The station has been going through various changes over the past couple of years. The entry of Mugisha with his experience and knowledge, UBC, might improve its content and national appeal.

Mugisha has been credited by many for mentoring young reporters, and anchors at Nation media.

Meanwhile, NTV announced on Twitter they have now appointed Ms Josephine Karungi as acting Head of News to fill the void left by Mr Mugisha.
