The weekend is just a few hours away and we are fired up. Ready to leave work and plan it all out. For those who cannot access the Daily Monitor today, Ghafla has managed to get you a list of some of the events you could attend from this Friday’s Scoop magazine.

Today: Geo steady Live in concert
Great way to enter into the weekend. Many of us have been planning this weeks earliar, and are ready to party. The show will start at 7pm at Imperial Royal Hotel, and the entry fee is 30,000 shillings for ordinary and 100K for VIP.

Today: Kellagram Silent Disco
Carry your most trendy headsets and come and have an experience at the silent disco for only 30K. There will be several DJs at Gekko Lounge to give you the experience of a lifetime.

Tomorrow: Uganda Entertainment awards
Happening this Saturday evening at Kampala Serena Hotel. Hopefully Ghafla will be available to give you all the tits and bits of the event in case you miss out. The show will be hosted by KFMs Malaika and it is 50K for ordinary and 100K for VIP. Check out #UEAUganda on twitter for all the updates.

Tomorrow: The starlight Safari Ball
Go to Sheraton Hotel this Saturday and get a bit of the live music, dance and food. Dress code is wildlife, poachers, rangers or formal. Sounds like fun. The fee is 250k for a ticket with a cocktail reception, a four course dinner wine, beef and soft drinks.

Sunday: Kyadondo Colour Run
The long awaited colour run has been scheduled for Sunday 10th at Kyadondo Rugby grounds. It is going to be fun filled, with music, colour and a lot of catching up. The tickets are 30K for general and 100K for VIP.

Sunday: Amaka Amawadi
This show will happen on both Saturday and Sunday, so catch up with it on any of these days. It will focus on Islamic issues and is at theatre Labonita. 20K for ordinary and 25K VIP.
