Singer and politician, Bobi Wine has finally returned home from the US were he had gone for his Kyarenga extra shows. However , the disturbing news is that his return has been insignificant this time, as many had anticipated.

Our sources mention that he returned with just about 5 people, with not more than one media house  welcoming  him from the Entebbe International Airport.

I think by now, we all understand singer Bobi Wine’s strategy to presidency. He has met a number of activists, politicians, and musicians abroad, and created an unbreakable force. The music community is rising up to take Uganda to greater heights. On a tweet, popular musician legendary Jamaican artist, Mr, Vegas shared that he is willing to campaign for Robert Kyagulanyi.

“I will come and campaign for you when you are ready bro. Africa Stand up! This is the future!  I met this man! He could have stuck to his music and watch our people suffering continue. The sacrifice is real.” Mr Vegas shared.

From a question and a doubt, this seems to be turning more serious. HE Robert Kyagulanyi is ready to take down the current president or Uganda in the next election in 2021.

From the ghetto, to a singer, then a Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East. Will Bobi Wine stand for presidency? The people power, power power movement leader has won the hearts of the youth over the years, although many criticism his lifestyle. In a video during an interview on CNN, the MP mentioned that he and his team, are considering to stand against the unbeatable president.

Is It True That The Slogan People Power Was Already Registered By Balaam as An NGO?

The Battle is not yet over against Bibi Wine. His shows have been a problem and now the slogan that he uses as an independent party politician. Producer Balaam Barugahare from Balam promotion apparently released evidence to show that the slogan, People power, with the color Red, is already registered. This information was provided by a one Andy Mukasa on a Facebook post.

The post claims that Balaam promotions already registered the names, People Power as an NGO and it is under copyright. However, Balaam claims these are untrue rumors, and a cause to sue his colleague in the similar business.

Ugandans have however criticised the said promoter, for the rumor. They also claimed that the political party run by Bibi Wine is “People Power, Our Power” and not the said registered name under copyright

 

Bobi wine Rocks rebel salute festival

Bobi and his wife are currently in Jamaica where they had gone for the rebel salute festival. They shared videos of themselves enjoying the Jamaican vibe on instagram with many of their followers cheering them on.

Ugandan singer Bobi Wine becomes the first East African artiste to perform at Jamaica’s prestigious Rebel Salute Festival which 18th and 19th of January at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St. Ann Parish Jamaica.

Bobi performed his famous Mr.  Kataala and Philly bongole’s freedom song among others and then went ahead to narrate his turmoil in what he referred to as the military government.

Pastor Wilson bugembe apologizes for featuring on Tuliyambala engule

Since the release of Bobi wine’s “Tuliyambala engule”, there has been alot of controversy surrounding the song and the message.

It’s pastor Wilson bugembe however that’s feeling the heat. Church leaders and fellow pastors have criticized Bugembe’s decision to be part of the song as disrespectful to the church and God.

While appearing for an interview on NTV, Pastor Wison Bugembe expressed his regrets of being part of the song and attributed this move to the little knowledge of what the song was about.

Some pastors like Pastor Male have on the other hand applauded the song and the artists saying this is a great move of taking on politics in the country.

MPs to Sue Bobi Wine For Tuliyambale Engule Video

This new song, Tuliyambale Engule by Bibi Wine, has brought a lot of confusion in the country. First, the pastors wanted to sue the man for apparently using a church themed song for political reasons. Now, the Members of parliament want to sue Bibi Wine for putting them in the video without their convent?

Following a clip from NBS Uncut, Kato Lubwama irons out that the video has as a matter of fact given more publicity to these members of parliament, since it has made multiple rounds on social media.

Robert Kyagulanyi, recorded a video, as the MPs danced to his favorite hit, Kyarenga, during their end of year 2018 party. This particular clip was inserted into the official video of Kyarenga. What do you think? Are the MPs just seeking opportunity? Or did Bobi Wine do Wrong?

 

UCC denies “Fake News” of banning Bobi wine’s tuliyambala engule

Since the release of his song “tuliyambala engule” bobi wine has attracted a lot of controversy on its release. Some spectators even came out to report that the song was banned by UCC for “disturbing the president’s peace something the body has vehemently denied.

This was after reports appeared on social media suggesting that UCC Executive Director Eng. Godfrey Mutabazi had issued a directive to all broadcasters against playing the song as well as people having it on their phones.

“Radios or TV stations that are going to play Bobi Wine’s new song ‘Tuliyambala Engule’ are at risk. That song should not be played anywhere, it’s treasonous and it disturbs the peace of the president. I even warn those who have it on their phones, we can track you and you will be forced to answer some questions,” the false report read.

However, when asked about the legitimacy of the report, UCC publicist, a one Pamela Ankunda trashed the social  media allegations.

“Not true,” she replied to a question from one of the social media gurus known as Paul Mugume, who was inquiring about the legitimacy of the report.

Bobi Wine Vs Bebe Cool Beef May Come to An End

Who saw this coming? Well, I didn’t. Could this be the end of the Bebe Cool vs Bobi Wine saga? I hope not because the music industry would be so boring. The 10 years of Eddy Kenzo brought to the show something that we had never seen before. The two major artists, and political rivals, Moses Ssali and Robert Kyagulanyi embraced themselves as brothers.

“As expected, seeing me and my brother and fellow artiste Bebe Cool greet and hug after a long time excited many people.” The people power leader shared.

The singer also made it clear to his fans that Uganda has alot of problems beyond their beef. “The issues which Uganda faces cannot and should not be reduced to a Bobi Wine – Bebe Cool affair!”

In a short clip that made rounds on social media, Bebe moved towards Bibi Wine’s seat, and the two hugged and embraced themselves.. Since then many fans have been left with unanswered questions. What do you think?

Since being really close to the money pot Bebecool has grown a second head and decided to bash everyone that isn’t on his side. The singer clearly doesn’t understand why the saying never throw stones while in a glass house because he has thrown rocks at the artists with whom he climbed the music industry together.

On Douglas lwanga’s after 5 show on NBS TV, when asked about Bobi wine’s new trending song “tuliyambala engule” Bebecool pointed out that it is a funeral song so it doesn’t make sense.

In a separate interview, Bebe Cool also claimed his fellow star chameleone’s videos are not popular because they are fake. He then promised to help him produce a classy video for free with the equipment he bought from the US.

“His music will travel more than he can imagine if he shoots splendid videos. He doesn’t like to invest. He has great music, but not  good videos,” he said.

Bobi wine invited for biggest Jamaican reggae concert

News has it that the former Ghetto president the turned politician has been invited to headline Jamaica’s biggest musical festival.

The Rebel Salute Festival is a two-day people’s show which is held annually with focus on roots and conscious music.

Nubian Lee confirmed The news saying “We got the call straight from Jamaica from a one Tony Rebel asking Bobi Wine to be one of the headline acts at next year’s Rebel Salute Jamaica show.”

Congestions to the two and we home the show goes well.

“Kyarenga was the Biggest Concert Since Independence” Eddy Kenzo Admits

One of the artists known for drawing large crowds is Eddy Kenzo. The International award winning artist, has admitted that the recently held Kyarenga Concert was the biggest since independence. From various reports, we can already deduce that thousands of people attended, filling up the One Love Beach, Busabala. There were no companies, making promotions of sales at the event, hence the crowd’s attention was glued to the stage. Eddy Kenzo however, has other reasons to add to this conclusion he made. Read below;

“No phone theft, no violence, no death, no blood, no one was hurt, no crime, no offense and on top of that. No police brutality was reported during the Kyarenga Concert. It was 100% a successful peaceful event which went down in history as the biggest concert since Independence. Alifira ku mazima eriba wadembe. Sylvia Owori has hit again. This time, she is turning the recently held Kyarenga Concert by Bobi Wine, into a political phenomenon. At the concert, the singer changed from his Red People power suit, into a mustard-gold one, for the night part of the show. Vary many critiques, opposition members, and fans have come out to point that the said color, depicts the NRM government.

Kyarenga Concert Draws Thousands

The long awaited Kyarenga Concert has finally come to pass. I think the line for the biggest concert of the year has been drawn. Hundreds and Thousands of people flooded One Love beach, Busabala to watch Bobi Wine make History.

Artists including Eddy Kenzo supported the event, giving some of the best entertainment on earth. The crowds all dressed in something red, some of which were being sold at the venue of the concert. The beach was filled to capacity with the young, and old, regardless of profession. Should we say this is the evidence we have been waiting for, that Bobi Wine is a true inspiration?

If you are planning on hiring an artiste to perform at your event, you better be financially stable because it may cost you rent of 5 years to have them.

Below is a breakdown of some of what some of Uganda’s top artists cost.

  1. Bobwine

With the Honorable title now slapped to his name,  Bobi Wine at the moment Will go for a whooping 5million ugx in kampala and upto 7million upcountry. The weight of his brand alone attracts alot of people so maybe he is worth the price.

2. Apass

Ugandan singer APASS

Apass puts value on his name. With his Hit song “Didadada” and so many others including his latest album “African Yayo,” A Pass in Kampala performs for atleast UGx 4Million at an event that is not corporate and at a Corporate event he performs for atleast UGX 7Million.

3. Sheebah

Sheebah Karungi is currently known as the most expensive female musician in Uganda.

She costs atleast UGX 4Million here in Kampala and UGx 8Million for upcountry shows.

4. Bebecool

With good number of quality music videosand songs,  Bebe Cool is currently ranked as the most expensive Ugandan artiste to hire to perform anywhere.  To perform at an event in Kampala his management will ask for atleast 7Million Shillings and when it comes to upcountry tours and shows, he skyroclets to 10Million Shillings with his Gagamel Band.

Bobi Wine Answers Tricky Questions on Capital Fm Morning Show

Yesterday morning Bobi was hosted on Capital FM’s breakfast show with Geatano and Lucky.

He was treated to a little game of “Either, Or” like in high school objectives.

When asked the singer to choose between Beti Kamya and Slyvia Awori he said “I think I can maybe go with Beti Kamya because she can be reconverted.”

The Ghetto gladiator was then tasked to choose between Bebe Cool and President Museveni!

“I would rather create friendship with Museveni now because we shall soon be meeting when handing over power but for Bebe Cool we can never meet anywhere,” Bobi answered.

Another final question that was fired to the legislator was to choose between his daughter Ssubi and wife Barbie Kyagulanyi.

Like an intellingent husband and father, he said; “Since whenever am with Barbie she feels safe, we (Bobi and Barbie) can for this case choose Ssubi”.

Bobi Wine Announces new Date and Venue for Kyarenga Concert

Having played cat and mouse with the police and management of Namboole National Stadium, the future of the Kyarenga Concert was unknown by many. The singer has announced to his fans, a new date and venue for the event, giving a ray of hop, where it had not existed.

The concert will be held at Bobi’s beach, One Love Beach, Busaabala, on the 10th of November. The entrance will be only 10,000 Uganda shillings, thus making it open to all that are willing to attend.

Bobi Wine advises Fans not to Boycott Uganda Cranes Match

Despite the various exchange of letters between different bodies, the singer, and the management of Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, the fate of the Kyarenga concert is still unknown. Bobi Wine and his team, have been turned down by the sports stadium, in a letter that explained that they needed to leave the area ready for a Uganda Cranes match, set for the 17th of next month. This prompted many fans to make up their minds to boycott the soccer game.

Bobi Wine however, continues to show how good a leader he is.

“Friends, I don’t agree with the trending hashtag #boycottugandacranes. Uganda Cranes is our national team in which we should always take pride and support with all our abilities.” he posted.

He shared with the fans that it will not be meaningful to take another talent down, f the musical talent is being suffocated.

“Our national team is the mirror of the best and the worst in us as a nation so all they need is Love and understanding, not condemnation. We are all Uganda Cranes and Uganda Cranes is us.”
