Tom Voltaire Okwalinga Facebook Page is Back

The beginning of this month brought a lot of shock to many Facebook users and opposition teams, after the account of Tom Voltaire Okwalinga went dormant and disappeared. He has been hunted, for years but has managed to keep his identity private and unknown to the rest of the world. A request for Facebook to reveal it and delete the page, was also denied by the Human Rights Watch. The young man/ woman still remains what most Ugandans call, “a ray of hope”

THE HUNT FOR TVO

A number of journalists have over the years been arrested and interrogated, with the thought that they could be this mysterious person. He has a large following on Facebook, and millions of comments tagged to his post. The mystery of TVO started when many read his posts, that seemed to predict, or rather say what exactly was happening in the government. From then on, he kept sending pictures taken by satellite, photos shared in phones, and various types of evidence with an aim to expose the wrong doers.

A few hours back, he came out to make a big statement and update his followers on the elections currently happening in Rukungiri. He posted;

“Friends and Fellow citizens, I am shortly making a big statement”

To which many of his followers commented, welcoming him back. Could this be TVO? or another fake account. Whi is TVO?
