A few weeks back, Vera Sidika was making it onto headlines simply because she had opted to celebrate the fact that she had “toned” her skin complexion and I was shocked at how primitive some people can be when it comes to personal liberties.

I personally do not advocate for bleaching but the hell do I care about what someone does with their bodies. I learnt to respect everyone’s right to do what makes them happy. Anyway, she was on BBC defending her decision to bleach and the video of her at the BBC offices is below:
