WATCH: What Went Into the Making of This Year’s Biggest Concert Film

We are just three days away from the East African premiere of the highly anticipated pseudo-concert film, Metallica Through the Never.

The film intersperses a fictional world of Metallica with two actual major concerts the iconic band played in Vancouver, Canada. The film is directed by Nimrod Antal and stars Dane DeHaan and Metallica.

The IMAX release of Metallica Through the Never was digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of an IMAX 3D Experience. The crystal-clear images and IMAX’s customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.

The film opened worldwide on 27th September but it’ll make it’s Kenyan premiere this Friday, 4th October at IMAX XX Century on Mama Ngina Street. Watch the film’s featurette with interviews from the film’s actors and makers below.
