What President Uhuru Did To Journalists Will Go Down Books Of History As One Of The Worst Abuses From A Sitting Head Of State

 

Cold blood between State House and the media industry in Kenya was displayed once again when President Uhuru Kenyatta bashed the media yet again in his Rift Valley tour.

This is not the first time the president has publicly declared his hate for the press. He at some time said that all newspapers are not meant to inform but instead to wrap meat.

The president repeated this very same statement yesterday when he told a crowd in Bomet County that they should not believe anything the press tells them and instead should use the newspapers to wrap meat.

The president launched this scathing attack on journalists after accusing them of spreading lies to the masses about his government.

His remarks come at the time when his deputy, who accompanied him to the Rift Valley region, has been accused yet again of trying to embezzle more than KES 11 billion from the tax payers through the rehabilitation of the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret.
