A pot belly, a penchant for lies, a corruption scandal and a whole lot of money, that’s your definition of a typical Kenyan politician.

Now what if I tell you there is one with zero scandal, a comedian and the creative director of one of the biggest advertisement agencies? You wouldn’t believe me now would you?

I harboured the same opinion as well until I stumbled upon these photos of John Kiarie popularly known as KJ, a political aspirant looking to clinch the Dagoretti South seat on a Jubilee ticket this coming election.

John Kiarie over the weekend led the Transcend Media group team for a team building extravaganza at Chaka ranch, Kiganjo and going by the photos; it’s pretty clear they were having great fun breaking quite the sweat with rigorous and fun activities at the Ranch.

They engaged in quad biking, paintballing, sang Karaoke and basically had a blast. “These guys are the most fun guys I have met. They partied the whole night and trust me they had no intentions to stop. It took the manager to alert them that morning had come and they needed to travel back to Nairobi on the same day. Otherwise….” Revealed one of the staff members at Chaka Ranch.

What a team! What a Place! What a getaway! Kiarie tweeted.
