Why Ken wa Maria Decided to Sing About ‘Fundamentals’. He Finally Reveals

‘Fundamentals’ was arguably the biggest song for the last quarter of 2013 and if you haven’t already listened to it by now, you should get out from under that rock you’ve been living under at the speed of light. Anyhow, the song rose from just over 500 views to a whopping 230,000 in just under a month, yes, that’s how an anthem it became. But just what inspired Ken Wa Maria to do this song?

Just like a popular singer once said, “Every single song is like a road map”, ‘Fundamentals, too, is a road map. Speaking on Citizen TV, Wa Maria revealed that the hit song was instigated by matters marriage.

Wa Maria says there are communities that ask about the facial structure, body figure and way of life generally.

Challenged about the fundamentals he refers to in the music video, Wa Maria points out that those were his fundamentals then BUT only in the video context and not real life.
