Why Koffi Olomide will never forget Churchill after his disgraceful exit from Kenya

About 4 months ago, Rumba Maestro Koffi Olomide was bundled out of the country like a common thief after he was caught on camera kicking one of his dancers.

No one knows what led to the violent altercation, but one thing was for sure, Kenyans wanted Koffi out of the country.

Soon after he landed in Kinshasa, Koffi Olomide found himself behind bars after a court in Kinshasa found him guilty of assault.Rallying his fans on social media, Koffi protested his short sentencing which he felt was unfair as he had not been given fair trial. That was the last we heard of Koffi.

He is back in the scene again. This was after the Churchill Show gave him the unforgettable opportunity  to apologize to Kenyans officially after things cooled down.

Hello my brothers and sisters of Kenya, this is Koffi.

Through Churchill show I wanted to say hi to you and to send you a message of love, of respect and friendship. I’m sorry for what happened last time and my prayer is that you forgive me for what I did.

I am only a human being despite being the superstar Koffi Olomide

The ‘most bold’ thing I have ever done is apologize to the world. Many couldn’t believe I could apologize, but I did and I would do it again. Thank You. Stay blessed Kenya. I love you.” he said in a message aired at the beginning of the show.
