Wyre Honoured by International Reggae Music Awards

Just a few weeks after being featured in the Kamua Leo remix, Wyre the Lovechild has been nominated for one of the most prestigious reggae music awards in the world.

The International Reggae and World Music Awards is organized by Martins International, which was started by Ephraim M. Martin, an entrepreneur, publisher and TV personality. Martin established Martin’s International Culture a not for profit arts organization to promote African/Caribbean music arts and culture.

Wyre has been nominated in the category of nominated for Best New Entertainer at the IRAWMAs. The gala is set to take place on the 4th of May. Wyre recently performed at the Tuko Rada Concert, where he was set to share the same stage with Fuse ODG, who later canceled. Wyre has had a successful career as a solo dancehall artiste just as he did when he was a member of Necessary Noize.
