Wyre, P Unit & Ken Wa Maria Set to Share Same Stage at the Most Epic Event this Saturday
This weekend, some of the big names in the music industry will assemble to crown the first edition of Safaricom Relay Series that will held on Saturday 26th April at the Nyayo National Stadium.
King of Kamba music Ken wa Maria will be joined on stage by “kikundiserikali” PUNIT, “King of Dancehall” Wyre and top mix masters Kaytrixx the “entertainer” and DJ Joe Mfalme.
The mini- concert will happen after the final trials and selection of the team that will represent the country in the first ever World Relay Championships in Nassau, Bahamas next month.
“We call on all Kenyans to come out in large numbers and support the athletes who will be competing for a chance to fly the country’s flag high in Bahamas, this will be a great opportunity for us and once again an affirmation of Safaricom’s commitment in supporting sports and music industries in the country,” said Safaricom Director of Marketing Rita Okuthe.
Safaricom’s footprint in sports sponsorship in the country is expansive. It runs a portfolio that includes the Safaricom Marathon at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, the Safaricom Safari Sevens and the Safaricom Athletics Series.
