Casper Nyovest’s new single ‘Good For That’ is a big tune (Video)

South African recording artist Refiloe Maele Phoolo, better known as Casper Nyovest, has released a new jam and we are really feeling it.

The track dubbed Good For That has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago and it is not really hard to understand why.

Basically, this jam is about Casper Nyovest, who is arguably one of the best African rappers at the moment, telling his competitors that he’s above them and it will take them a lot of time to catch up with him.

Put simply, he is rubbing it in their faces and this is evidenced by lines like, “I am that nigga, I do what I want, there’s nobody bigger,” and “Boy, don’t tell me about cyphers, I’ve been battling taxes.”

I was smiling the whole time I was listening to this jam because let’s be honest, Casper Nyovest’s wordplay is so dope and so are his rhymes. It’s the kind that will make you scratch your head as you try to make sense of it all.

If you ask me, the break that Casper took to focus on the South African urban dance sound was worth it because he’s a better rapper now, like way better.

Of course, I also love the tempo on this jam, especially because it’s a bit subtle and blends well with Casper’s style as well as his tempo. The producer outdid himself.

The video for this jam is a masterpiece because it has amazing shots that align well with the theme of the song which is flaunting. Notably, the scene transitioning is also smooth.

Cassper Nyovest has released a new jam titled ‘Who Got The Block’ and it’s really dope (Video)

Award-winning South African rapper Refiloe Maele Phoolo, known to many as Cassper Nyovest, has released a new jam with Frank Casino and we are really feeling it.

The song dubbed Who Got The Block is epitomizes how much the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker has grown over the years because it is a masterpiece.

In the song, Cassper combines Zulu and English and the outcome sounds so pleasant to the ears never mind the fact that I don’t even understand most of the things that he is saying.

Frank Casino also came through on this jam. The hook is so catchy and you just want to keep listening to it because it also has Cassper on it.

The beat on this jam is a dope. Although it does not have a Kwaito vibe, it still slaps really hard. It is the main reason why I’ve had this jam on replay since it blends really well with Cassper’s flow.

The video concept is also commendable. I was particularly impressed by the opening frame which has Cassper, Frank and one other person with cigars in their mouths as they storm a party. It just looks cool.

I also loved the video concept. From the fire that is blazing in the background as Casper and Khuli flow, to the styling to the dark scenes and choreography, everything was really on point.

Generally speaking, this is a dope jam, even a language barrier will not stop you from enjoying it, especially if you are a fan of the two super-talented rappers.
