Police Reveals how Alizee’s Husband Murdered her

He has been remanded in police custody.

A Cheif Magistrates Court, sitting in Yaba has remanded Danish national, Nielson, in police custody, for the suspected killing of his wife, Ali Zinab Nielson and their daughter, Petra.

Prosecuting counsel, Effiong Asuquo endeered a three-page application, containing 15 grounds for Nielsen’s remand in prison. Neilson, represented by Frank Udoka Amah, had his plea rejected.

According to Asuquo, there is overwhelming forensic evidence linking the defendant to the assault and murder of his wife and daughter. Investigation has also shown that the defendant was habitually violent to his late wife, Zainab.

He said, a fight broke out between the couple in their flat at about 3:00 a.m. on that fateful day. Nielsen was allegedly seen fighting and hitting the deceased’s head on a wall by her two relations, Mimi, 11, and Faith, 13 who lived with them.

She died from injuries sustained from the assault. The prosecutor also alleged that Nielsen then poisoned Petra before dragging her body into the kitchen.

Asuquo added that he took the lifeless little girl and put her under the mother’s body and then put on gas stove burners in the kitchen so that it will be believed that the wife and daughter were suffocated to death by the cooking gas.

“It is in the national interest that the suspect remain in prison pending legal advice and his arraignment and trial.” Chief Magistrate Ayeye upheld his plea. She remanded Nielsen in prison and adjourned the case till May 8 for the DPP’s advice.

Singer Alizee’s danish husband to be charged with murder

The  PRO of the Lagos State Police Command,SP Chike Oti in a statement says it’s been decided to charge Peter Nielson, singer Alizee’s Danish husband to court for two counts charge of murder.
According to the statement, forensic experts have confirmed him as the cause of the death of his wife and daughter. He would be taken to the Yaba Magistrate Court today 11th April, 2018, where the case would be mentioned and his trial for the offence of murder begins.

Omoni Oboli Seeks Justice for Alizee, Asks Women to Run from Domestic Violence

Omoni Oboli shares an emotion laden reaction to Alizee’s death.

Omoni Oboli, in reaction to singer, Alizee’s death shares a long emotional post on domestic violence and reasons why women should run away from it.

Her movie, Wives on Strike, the Revolution, she said, is in reaction to many cases of Domestic violence, she has heard in the past.

She wrote;

I’m so heartbroken! What a waste! Why the innocent baby girl as well? I’m sick to my stomach! I decided I had to make #WivesOn Strike THEREVOLUTION because I was sick and tired of hearing about domestic violence. I used the tool I had, my voice which is film to shed light on a very scary topic! I followed closely a case early last year and this is what I told the victim who thankfully, narrowly escaped with her life. ‘My dear, marriage is great I know, I’m in it but it’s not the only great thing in life.

Life has plenty purpose outside of marriage. Once there’s any form of violence (and I’m speaking for both male and female) run for your life! Forget about what people will say! You can only hear them if you are alive. Believe me, no marriage is worth dying for and nobody is indispensable! Don’t listen to society! Flee!!! If you have kids, take your kids and run!!! Do not ‘stay for the kids’! Even if you survive, they will grow up to hate you for it! Don’t teach the next generation by your actions or inactions that domestic violence should be condoned or tolerated!’
Marriage nor be by force abeg! If you can’t stand the heat, leave the kitchen! If you can’t stand someone anymore or they offended you, leave them before you will say devil pushed you to kill them!

See my brother, my sister, run!! We’ve gotten many messages from people who were touched by our movie and who now have the courage to speak up and seek help. Please don’t die in silence. Talk! Shout! Cry!

I don’t know what happened in this case but if this man truly murdered this beautiful woman, his wife and his own child may God and the law take its full course! We are watching!

Mercy Aigbe Reacts to Alizee’s Death, Advises Women in Abusive Relationships

Mercy Aigbe, like other celebrities, is irked by the news of Alizee’s death

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has reacted to the story of the death of upcoming singer, Alizee, who was murdered with her child, by her husband.

The actress, who has in the past suffered domestic violence, advised those that choose to remain in abusive relationships, for one reason or the other. According to her, there is absolutely no reason why a woman should remain in such relationships, as according to her, life is more important.

She wrote;

It’s a Shame how people allow the society to dictate for them!!!! It is your life! And trust me your life matters!…..

Pls flee from an abusive relationship/marriage, no one has the right to physically abuse their partner regardless!!!!!…. Talkless of taking another person’s life. I am so pained with this story I saw online, Jesus!!!!

Why will someone take the life of his wife and beautiful innocent child! Why?Pls if are reading this and you are in an abusive relationship/marriage pls run for your dear life before it’s too late! Let people say whatever they want to say, na dem get their mouth!!!!
Stop saying where will I start from?

Stop saying I am staying because of the kids!!!…Stop making excuses, before it’s too late!!!!!…. Trust me you are stronger than you think and you are more useful to your children alive than be dead or disabled.

Police confirms arrest of Alizee’s husband who murdered her and her 4 year old daughter

The Lagos Police have confirmed the arrest of singer Alizee’s murderer who happens to be her husband. The Danish husband murdered his wife and daughter in their banana island home.

The Lagos state PPRO, SP Chike Oti, said: “The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has ordered the arrest of the suspect and he is in police custody. It is pre-emptive now to ascertain the cause of the incident. The CP has dispatched crime scene investigators to the place to pick evidences for analysis which can be used for prosecution. The command has also written the Embassy of the suspect that the police are investigating the case.”

Meanwhile, her management team released their official statement on the murder : ” 1. Petra Entertainment Limited has received with shock news of the sudden demise of our artist Nielsen Zainab Joy (Aged 29) and her daughter Nielsen Petra (Aged 4) at their Banana Island, Lagos home on the 5th of April 2018.

2. The late Nielsen Zainab Joy (also known as Alizee) was a Nigerian citizen married to Nielsen Peter Schau a Danish citizen resident in Nigeria. 3. While we exercise restraint in making public comments on the circumstances surrounding the demise of Alizee and her daughter, – in order not to prejudices on-going police investigations – it has become important to correct some misinformation presently circulating in the media space.

4. In this regard, we state that the husband of the late Nielsen Zainab Joy who is also the father of the late Nielsen Petra is Nielsen Peter Schau. Nielsen Peter Schau is a Danish citizen and not an Italian or Asian as has been reported by several media outlets.

5. We call all law enforcement agencies to speedily unravel the circumstances surrounding the demise of these vibrant Nigerians and bring all complicit persons and/or entities to justice.

6. In the light of reports suggesting that Alizee’s husband may be under Police investigation in connection with these painful deaths, We particularly call on the Nigerian immigration Services to remain vigilant at this time and urge the cooperation of all foreign missions in the country.

Singer, Alizee and 4 Year Old Daughter Reportedly Murdered by Husband in Lagos

Alizee was reportedly murdered by her Italian husband in her Lagos home.

Yesterday, the 5th of April, Nigerian singer, Ali Zainab Nielsen, popularly known as Alizee and her four year old daughter, (Petra Nielsen.) was reportedly murdered by her Italian husband, Peter Nielsen.

Reports have it that they were both murdered at their home in Ocean Parade towers in Banana Island. A member of the singer’s management team spoke with LIB to confirm the death.

It’s really a shocking and sad development. We all woke up to the sad news of her death this morning and to find out that the homicide was committed by her husband makes it all the more sad. The Police has been brought in to the case and we’ll share more details as we get them.

It is yet unknown, what the circumstances behind the murder are. The bodies of the deceased have however been deposited at the mortuary.
