Former Miss Deaf SA is officially off the market (Photos)

Janie Erasmus, former Miss Deaf South Africa, married the love of her life this past weekend. The ceremony took place in Muldersdrift.

Janie’s mother describes her daughter’s wedding day as incredibly beautiful, emotional and special.

Janie was crowned Miss Deaf SA in 2015. She went on to win the Deaf Miss World title the following year.

She met her husband on Facebook in February last year. They got to know each other better before starting to date. By December, they got engaged.

“We started making wedding plans in October,” Janie’s mother says.

On Saturday afternoon, they were declared husband and wife.
