Dineo Ranaka shows off her DJ skills

Dineo Ranaka is finally showing off her skills on the DJ Booth.

She shared a video of herself in action as she worked on a tune she sourced from the financial service company, Mastercard.

“So whilst sourcing music I stumbled upon this Mastercard tune that put a priceless smile on my face. What do you think of it? @mastercard #jointhebeat #mastercard #StartSomethingPriceless, [sic]” she proudly wrote.

However, many of her fans were unimpressed by her skills.

Blaklez opens up about co-parenting with Dineo Ranaka

During the radio interview with Cape Talk show host Sara-Jayne King, Blacklez focused mostly on his third album Baby Brother which he originally recorded in 2014 shortly after he lost his mother in 2013.

The Saka Nyuka rapper also spoke candidly about his daughter and why she was the best thing to ever happen to him: “She’s the most intelligent human being at that age for me,” said Blaklez describing his little girl.

“She’s amazing in a sense that I see a lot of myself in her, I see a lot of her mother in her and I feel like she challenges me.”

When asked by the show host how his relationship was with Metro FM host Dineo Ranaka since their very public break-up in 2013, Blaklez responded with a swift: “They’re great – they’re great,” before proceeding to explain how he thought she is the most misunderstood person.

“I think she’s one of the most misunderstood human beings. I think people are starting to see her character because she’s one human being who cares so much about her surroundings,” he said commending the mother of his five-year-old daughter.

“I think we connected at that level she cares about this country she cares about its people. She’s working on a lot of productions on TV which are her own and everything is built and based around human beings …and trying to improve people’s lives.”

According to the hip-hop artist their daughter was the reason why he and the Baby Mama’s actress decided to come to amicable terms.

“I think time is the most precious commodity. We just came to the realization that we created a beautiful life and if we continue on the path that we were on then we are pretty much setting her on that same path,” said Blaklez to which he added: “The path of bitterness, destruction and brokenness.”

Dineo Ranaka is being accused of a hit and run

Dineo Ranaka is being accused  of avoiding a man after she allegedly collided with his car in May.

Speaking to the Sunday Sun, Paulos Mnguni says the crash happened on the R554 in Brakpan.

He claims Dineo has been dodging his calls ever since the accident.

Paulos is now demanding that she fork out thousands as his car, a Tata Indica, has been written off.

“I bought my car for R30 000 and since it’s written off, I want Dineo to pay me so I can get another one,” he told the publication.

The 52-year-old added that he needs to the money to buy a new vehicle as he can no longer travel to work like he used to.

He says he does not want to “shame her status, but she should acknowledge that she was at fault”.

Paulos told the paper that the robot had turned green for him to proceed and as he was approaching the intersection, a white Land Rover, which was travelling in the opposite direction, turned without giving way for vehicles heading straight.

The crash allegedly left him with minor injuries.

Paulos claims Dineo told him that she did see him approaching but thought she could turn before him.

“Later, she changed her statement, saying I caused the accident. I feel Dineo doesn’t care. I’ve tried several times to resolve the matter peacefully. And now I’m the one being blamed,” he told the publication.

He added that he had no idea who Dineo was until people at the scene recognised her.

Dineo is yet to comment on the incident and was not available for comment when the Sun team contacted her.

Mantsoe Pout and Dineo Ranaka caught up in a social media debate

 Mantsoe Pout took to social media to lambaste teens who date older people, drawing sharp reaction from Dineo Ranaka.

Mantsoe took to Twitter to share her disgust at older men that apparently see no problem with dating teenagers. She questioned their motives and suggested that they were “perverts” taking advantage of young girls.

What  Mantsoe Pout said

“Can 38-year-old men stop dating teenagers! What are you doing at 38 dating a 17-year-old? What life experiences do you remotely share? This just smells like a pervert taking advantage of a little girl for data and pumps. Sies! I’m so disgusted!” she wrote.

She went on to warn young girls to stay away from older men.

“And you teens, tlohelang banna!! (leave older man alone)” she wrote.

Dineo Ranaka response

However, Dineo felt that Mantsoe’s anger was “unfair and quite heavily judgmental” and took her to task on Twitter.

“There are a number of people happily married for years on end and they have a 20-year age gap. So to generalize to this extent is unfair. My dad was in his 30’s when he met mom and she was late teens. Love is unpredictable,” the Metro FM DJ claimed.
