Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa and his wife Johanna Louw are expecting a child.
“We’re past the second trimester of the pregnancy and we are very excited about our daughter,” Johanna said.
The announcement comes nine months after the death of their three week old daughter. Both Oupa and Johanna agree that this baby is not a replacement for baby Kutloano. They say nothing will heal the pain of losing their child.
“Our baby will always be in our hearts and we know God’s plan for us.”
Preparations for the arrival of the baby girl are underway.
“We haven’t yet thought of names but we’ve started buying baby clothes and toys. We love children and our families are also very excited.”
The couple, who met while still in their teens, have been together since 2006.
They agree they are both geared up for parenthood.
