Sbahle Mpisane opens up about her accident

Almost two months after being released from hospital, Sbahle Mpisane has now opened up. This is about the car crash that almost took her life.

She did this through a lengthy Instagram post.

“After 3 weeks of being in a coma, waking up to a body with almost 80% of its bones broken, God protected my spine. With no memory, not just of my accident, but the last two years being blurry, I spent a total of four months in hospital,” she began.

“Today I walked out of a week-long stay in hospital hopeful and filled with faith. The road has been lonely. But I am forever thankful for the love of my family and your continual support and prayers.”

Better person

She views her accident as a human experience that enabled her to be a better person to all her loved ones.

“I’ve come to embrace the tough & pain filled days. I have learnt to make a map of them, by sitting and growing with them. I view the accident as a human experience I needed to become more than a daughter of my parents, a girlfriend to… and even more than #FitnessBunnie”

“Rediscovering myself is such a humbling journey. I am learning to celebrate myself without awaiting anyone to do so. My slow walk towards my happy ending is not about anyone and has no Prince Charming. With God by my side, I am becoming my own completion on a path searching for my purpose that He spared my life for. It’s a long road ahead,” she concluded.

Read her statement

Hi Guys,

For the past 2 weeks I have been dealing with messages from a stalker or hacker that have been blackmailing me & my family on my personal number. Please note that I have not been on Twitter since regaining consciousness and being released from hospital in November. I have NO new Twitter account. Both my Instagram accounts were also hacked. I am already dealing with overcoming an emotionally & physically traumatic accident, and to have someone mentally tormenting me in this way is setting me back emotionally. All I want is to get better and be as close to normalcy as I can possibly can get to. I pray and appeal to you, whoever you are to grant me peace. Thank you for your continued prayers, motivation and support
