Trevor Noah hilarious fake Xhosa translation

Trevor Noah hit the Oscars stage to present to the  Best Picture nominees, Black Panther.

Trevor took the stage to talk about how people actually think Wakanda is a real place.

“Growing up as a young boy in Wakanda, I would see T’Challa flying over our village, and he would remind me of a great Xhosa phrase,” he says, “‘Abelungu abazi’ uba ndiyaxoka—which means, ‘In times like these, we are stronger when we fight together than when we try to fight apart.”

Well, it turns out that that is not the real meaning of the phrase.

“The real translation is, ‘White people don’t know I’m lying,'” Zimbabwean TV host Makho Ndlovuon says

Zolani Mahola Hangs Out With Trevor Noah

Zolani Mahola had a chance to hang out with Trevor Noahwhile in New York.

She posted a photo of herself when she landed, saying that she was hoping to visit Trevor, and that she did.

Taking to social media, Zolani detailed a conversation she had with him.

“And then I said… ‘Man! But your show was amazing!’ And then he just smiled and we laughed and laughed!”

Trevor Noah tries to sneak Biltong in the states.

Trevor Noah loves biltong and tried to take it back to America with him after visiting the country of his birth, but things didn’t go as planned.

In an insert on The Daily Show, Trevor spoke about how – on his recent trip back to The States from SA – he tried to bring some of the cured meat through airport customs but upon seeing signs up that he couldn’t take it into the country, he tried to eat all of his biltong right there and then…Over a bin.

Inside Trevor Noah’s Million Dollar LA Home

Comedian Trevor Noah is said to have bought a home for over $20-million (R279-million). This is said to be in Bel-Air, Los Angeles.

TMZ.com reported that its real estate sources confirmed Trevor had bought the pad through a blind trust.

The house, apparently sits on a 1.31-acre property, with spectacular. It features an infinity pool, 500-gallon saltwater aquarium, home theater and ultra-private VIP suite.

Hours before TMZ report became public, Trevor’s friend Sizwe Dhlomo tweeted a picture of an infinity pool with similarities to the one that is his supposed home.

Trevor is not a stranger to life’s fine things as in 2017, he bought a penthouse worth $11,495-million (R130-million).

Trevor Noah announces new Netflix special

Trevor Noah took to twitter share that his new Netflix show .

The show, titled Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia, touches on racism, immigration, camping and more.

The stand-up will air on Netflix as from the 20th  November.

Son of Patricia is Trevor’s second special available on Netflix following the hugely popular, Afraid of the Dark.
