A New Twist to The Kikoyi

The Kikoyi is one of Uganda’s universal African wears. All the different tribes at least use it in any form possible. Mostly in the central region, Buganda, it forms an important outfit in the traditional marriages. It can either be worn as an under garment on the gomesi, to make it round, or worn as a Kikoyi itself. The trendy designers, have however included a new twist to the Kikoyi, showing the world that it can be worn to one’s own tastes and preferences.
